Supply Chain Due Diligence Act

Based on our self-image, we are prepared to take responsibility: for our employees, for our members, for the quality of our products, and for the environment. This is based on our values: respect, fairness, responsibility, transparency, and openness, which are enshrined in our code of conduct. Sustainable business practices require social responsibility along the entire value chain. A fundamental component of this is respect for human rights.

The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) regulates human rights and environmental due diligence obligations along supply chains for companies in Germany for the first time. Hochwald has been subject to the LkSG since January 1, 2024.

You can find more detailed information on how we deal with due diligence obligations in our policy statement.
