Once again in 2023, Hochwald Foods GmbH provided support for the charitable organisation “Herzenssache e.V.” – a children’s aid campaign run by SWR, SR and Sparda-Bank. Over the course of the year, a total of € 9,262.83 was raised by the Hochwald advertising truck, which travelled to various regional and agricultural events such as the Frankfurt Harvest Festival, the Foire Agricole in Luxembourg and numerous farm festivals organised by our suppliers. For 50 cents, old and young could spin the Wheel of Fortune for a chance to win small prizes or Hochwald products.

The children’s charity programme ‘Herzenssache’ is aimed at helping underprivileged children and youths in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. It makes a vital contribution not only to seriously ill children and their families but also to Ukrainian children who were forced to flee their homes and seek refuge together with their families in the south-west. Every year since 2005, Hochwald has donated the entire proceeds from the Wheel of Fortune to Herzenssache.
