This year, Hochwald Foods GmbH is donating €6,978.91 to the children’s aid campaign “Herzenssache” (A Matter of Heart). The dairy cooperative, based in Thalfang (Rhineland-Palatinate), has been supporting the initiative, founded by the broadcasters SWR and SR together with Sparda-Bank, since 2005 and is committed to helping disadvantaged children and young people in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
Over the course of this year, a total of €6,978.91 has been raised by the Funmobil’s wheel of fortune. The revamped sales vehicle tours events throughout the cooperative’s coverage area, including the Hessian Farmers’ Day, the “Knollenfest” potato festival in Euskirchen and the GreenLive show in Kalkar. It also makes appearances at livestock shows, farm festivals, farmers’ markets and various other events. For just 50 cents, young and old alike can try their luck at the wheel of fortune and win great prizes and dairy products. All proceeds from this go to the “Herzenssache” initiative.
The children’s aid campaign “Herzenssache” supports disadvantaged children and young people in South-West Germany. It plays a valuable role in helping children in need and their families. This includes families who struggle financially to keep food on the table as well as families who have fled to Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland to escape the war in Ukraine. Thanks to the support of countless donors, the children’s charity has already been able to implement around 1,500 support projects for children and young people.
