Our Lüneburg site was awarded the quality seal Top Training by IHK Lüneburg for the first time in 2021. This successful initial auditing remains valid for three years. The recertification audit was carried out in early March, and was also passed successfully. The Lüneburg site can now continue to use the quality seal, confirming its status as an ‘outstanding training workplace’, until 2028.
On the part of Hochwald, it was not only the HR representatives but also two trainee mechatronics engineers who answered the questions posed by the IHK staff and two external auditors as part of the online audit. An extensive presentation was given on the relevant topics, followed by a discussion of the specific measures presented. What kind of vocational guidance does a work placement at the Lüneburg site provide, what particular trades is training provided for and how are the training and work-study programmes organised as a whole? Our theory and practice have developed so well that we are now permitted to use the IHK ‘Top Training’ seal for another three years, until 2028.
