Hochwald Foods GmbH, a 100 percent subsidiary of the Hochwald Milch eG cooperative, is located in Thalfang/Hunsrück. As a business venture with a co-operative structure, we have set ourselves the goal of processing the milk supplied as a raw material by the farmers who are our members and marketing it with the highest possible added value. Hochwald aims to satisfy our clients' demands to the greatest possible degree. We are committed to observing consumer protection, hygiene, environmental protection and economic principles in our production. To produce consistent quality, we have established a quality management system which is regularly monitored by external accredited institutions. As a food producer, we have devoted ourselves to the principle of sustainability. We hope to achieve the lowest possible impact on our environment, employees and products with a production strategy that uses raw materials efficiently and produces low emissions. Thanks to the introduction of an energy management system in 2012, we are systematically identifying savings opportunities.
