
As a food producer, Hochwald operates in a market oriented manner, satisfies the customer's expectations and utilises natural resources to sustainably save them for future generations. We are cooperating with agricultural producers as well as all other suppliers of raw materials, auxiliary substances and packaging materials on issues of quality assurance and prevention of environmental pollution as well as the protection of environmental goods. Also in terms of such guidelines, we have implemented a quality management system according to international standards such as IFS (International Food Standard) as well as the BRC standard (British Retail Consortium), which is regularly checked by approved neutral organisations.
Together with us, our farmers make every endeavour to maintain the excellent quality of the milk as foodstuff with its valuable substances in terms of nutritional physiology. From the milk producer to the finished product, the raw material is accompanied by many statutory and voluntary analyses to maintain the high standards. The milk quality assurance system established almost all over Germany was introduced by Hochwald on 1 January 2004; this instrument ensures quality and sale of the raw milk supplied by our producers.
